flooristik 1 is going its real individual homegrown way between
downtempo beats, dub, triphop, experimental electronics and indie
pop. some say: trip pop. compiled by wohnton-labelfounder & dj sfr
aka stefan roos, flooristik 1 includes a mixture of german
downbeat-dub-clubclassics (like compost┤s fauna flash,
stereodeluxe┤ boozoo bajou or lounge records┤ la taverne du lac)
and important but (till yet) unknown german underground
triphopper┤s & downbeater┤s like spherical (from hamburg),
shadow.proof (from wiesbaden, sideproject from german
chartbreakers s÷hne mannheims), smooth pilots (from leipzig),
suptaone (from stuttgart, on paul┤s musique recordings --) a
vienna scientists-dj-set-classic), cherry poppers (from mainz, out
of worldwide known electronic-label overdrive) and loads more.
flooristik 1 also includes wohnton┤s german and austrian radio- &
club-underground trip hop hit watership song from mainz based band
user┤s atmosphere, which is also going to hit the cinema┤s
worldwide as a part of a big movie soundtrack in spring 2002. this
track was compiled for loads of compilations worldwide, for
example in fall 2000 for music for modern living 4 (lounge
records, & lambchop/zero 7-mix, majestika, afterlife.) and in july
2001 for uk-compilation aura horizontal bar culture (aura records
/ bianco music, & king kooba, supreme beings of leisure,
afterlife, taxi, hacienda). and watch out (also on flooristik 1)
for a brandnew and unreleased track by user┤s atmosphere, called
contact and an unreleased breakbeat-smasher (underwater boogie)
from hamburg┤s most wanted starbuck foundation. so go ahead and
