░ immediately carries you away: With "New ░
░ Rising" the German band with the somewhat ░
░ strange name shows that their debut "The ░
░ Puzzle" was not a flash in the pan. "Step ░
░ in 2 my World" is a more than worthy ░
░ successor to the highly acclaimed debut. ░
░ The seven-member combo remains true to its ░
░ style, namely not to be assigned to any ░
░ clear style direction. Once again, the ░
░ musical grab bag is opened and the most ░
░ diverse approaches such as metal, jazz, ░
░ art rock, pop, classical music, rap and ░
░ progressive rock are let loose on each ░
░ other. One might call it Crossover, but it ░
░ does not matter what you call it, it works ░
░ and just goes off well. Compared to the ░
░ first CD, the handbrake was loosened even ░
░ more and the musicians can really let off ░
░ steam. However, the whole thing always ░
░ seems organic, a small feat considering ░
░ the creative range of SEVEN STEPS TO THE ░
░ GREEN DOOR. At the same time, the basic ░
░ direction of "Step in 2 my World" tends ░
░ much more clearly towards progressive rock ░
