So Let Me Know, Whistle JacketÆs 2006 effort, features the spirit of Jackets
past, present, and future. Original members Chris Hart, Doug Sisko, and Michael
Leyden contribute on, respectively, drums, bass, and rhythm guitar. On lead
guitar is Rod Moody, formerly of SubpopÆs Swallow. Rod adds a little leather to
the Jacket. Dan Mickus plays both bass and drums, though not at the same time.
He also now teams with Michael on much of the songwriting and arranging. After
mixing most of the record, Matt Jugenheimer got his Whistle Jacket on by
responding to our ad for a drummer. He actually didnÆt know he was responding to
us. The latest person to join the Whistle Jacket family is actually in MichaelÆs
family. SheÆs his cousin. Melissa John plays keyboard, piano, and percussion.
Other releases of Whistle Jacket include Rainy Day Sunshine and Whistle Jacket
