█ █▓█ Label: Surprise █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Genre: Surprise - A Lowlands Records Offshoot █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Formed in Brussels, Belgium in 2003 by DAVID █▓█ █
█ █▓█ GARCET and renamed PINK SLOW MOTEL in 2004 with █▓█ █
█ █▓█ the veneer of ZALAN LASKO, resident DJ of the "At █▓█ █
█ █▓█ The Villa Vintage" and "H2O" clubnights at the █▓█ █
█ █▓█ famous Fuse. After two noticed and acclaimed EPs █▓█ █
█ █▓█ on their own label, it's time to move on: the █▓█ █
█ █▓█ electro project is signed on the Surprise label, █▓█ █
█ █▓█ home of electro hybrids like Vive La FΩte, █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Nid&Sancy, Mascotte and several others... Heavily █▓█ █
█ █▓█ influenced by various old school musical styles █▓█ █
█ █▓█ of the 80's, PINK SLOW MOTEL stays ahead of the █▓█ █
█ █▓█ rest of the posse: their tracks breed the █▓█ █
█ █▓█ evolution of electronic music, putting the sound █▓█ █
█ █▓█ of then right in the centre of the dancefloor of █▓█ █
█ █▓█ today... "New Funk" belongs to the new generation █▓█ █
█ █▓█ of electro-music; be it electronic bodymusic, █▓█ █
█ █▓█ synthpop or techelectro and fitting right in █▓█ █
█ █▓█ between your selection of the so hype German tech █▓█ █
█ █▓█ and electroish minimal. But beware: Pink Slow █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Motel serves it maximal! Flip over for █▓█ █
█ █▓█ "Systematiks" where a 4/4 pounding beat hits you █▓█ █
█ █▓█ immediately and surrounds you with alienated █▓█ █
█ █▓█ sounds, 80's electrogrooves and vocodered voices. █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Almost halfway, the tune gets a an unexpected █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Moroder injection while it has a blips&bleeps █▓█ █
█ █▓█ ending, perfect to mix the next slab of wax into █▓█ █
█ █▓█ your electrotech set..... █▓█ █
█ █▓█ █▓█ █
