Nice atmostpheric drum n bass cd from Torquay (UK) based label
Cadence. Although billed as a label mix, all the tunes here are
from Simon Huxtable (aka Aural Imbalance) - the three tracks
under different pseudonyms are collaborations between him and
other producers. Label boss Steve Degree has explained that
"The label was basically set up to support the music Simon
was making. He has defined the sound of Cadence, but he also
works with different partners in the studio who are all part of
the Cadence collective" - he works with Paul Todd, Andy Pitman
and Emily Townsend in Equation of State, Deep Space Organisms
and Concetric Flow respectively. Huxtable has previously
released for Good Looking Records, and this album is very much
in the GLR vein.
