after the magnificent reaction to the "return to x" album, 2
excellent remixes of album tracks are now released on this 10".
on one side we find a relaxed and very groovy "swingin millie"
remix by the frankfurt musician peter schwalm a.k.a. slop shop, who
has managed to impress musicians from rainer trⁿby to brian eno
with his albums "makrodelia 1&2" (on poets club records). his album
"drawn from life" (virgin), recorded in cooperation with brian eno,
is also soon to appear.
on the flip side, there is more club pressure with a thumping remix
of "the manta" by luke gordon a.k.a. spacer, who has already worked
with ian simmonds on a few occasions in the past (spacer vs.
juryman amongst others) and has numbered among the leading
producers in the international nu jazz movement for years.
