The name that came to mind when I first listened to Lunatic Harness
was Squarepusher. After a few listens, however, I realized that this
is still µ-Ziq, original and intact. Mike Paradinas' comfortability
and knowledge with his equipment noticeably matures and creates a
deeper, more complex sound and a very satisfying experience for the
listener. Ambient ("Brace Yourself"), Old School Rap ("Lunatic
Harness"), and Hardcore Electrobreaks ("Approaching Menace") all
make the album worthwhile.
