one of the first records to feature vikter duplaix, and one of
the first releases by king britt as scuba. and what an apt name
it is - king britt himself describes it as deep aquatic house
music. i would have to agree; this is deep, beautiful, soulful,
music.
king britt's scuba project has since gone from strength to
strength, doing great remixes for artists like ufo, attica blues
and atjazz. vikter duplaix is also getting a lot of recognition,
producing r&b artists (eric benet, musiq soulchild, erykah
badu), and making futuristic soul records like 'manhood' (watch
out for the remixes!).
