Insomniac City is a cinematic project in parts which morphs,
changes form, story and length as it develops. This Mille
Plateaux release features the latest episode:
"Is it real or a dream?". A man suffering from insomnia tries
to recall how / if he has come to be shot in one of the city's
underground car parks. Through a fragmented non linear stream
of events that encompass day and night Tel Aviv is spliced
through chaotic observations, a vague notion of reality,
physical and mental spheres, drifting between the known reality
and a hallucinatory one. It explores through video and sound
possible scenarios of a city in transit shift and decay while
checking the boundaries of inner and external worlds,
documentary and fiction, present dream and future,
architecture, physical and meta physical. DVD: 40 min. CD:76
