▌░ Madison, WI's Bongzilla specialize in uncommonly heavy and ░▐
▌░ doomy sludge-core dedicated to their one and only love: weed. ░▐
▌░ Formed in the mid-'90s by Mike "Muleboy" Makela ░▐
▌░ (guitar/vocals), Jeff Schultz (guitar), Nate Dethlefsen ░▐
▌░ (bass), and Mike Henry (drums), the group followed its first ░▐
▌░ demo with 1998's Methods for Attaining Extreme Altitudes EP. ░▐
▌░ This, in turn, was followed by a string of abusively heavy, ░▐
▌░ corrosively down-tuned releases through Relapse Records, ░▐
▌░ including 1999's Stash, 2002's Gateway, 2004's Apogee, and ░▐
▌░ 2005's Amerijuanican. ░▐
▌░ ░▐
▌░ Tracks 1 & 2 - recorded by John Machnik (1995) at Sleepless ░▐
▌░ Nights, Madison, Wisconsin ░▐
▌░ ░▐
▌░ Tracks 3 & 4 - recorded live from the board by John Machnik ░▐
▌░ and Brad Kurtz (1996) at the Chamber ░▐
▌░ ░▐
▌░ Tacks 5,8,9,10, & 11 - recorded by Steve Austin (1997) at ░▐
▌░ Austin Enterprise, Nashville Tennessee ░▐
