     At the renowned Amsterdam International Fashion Week the world
     of mundain fashion comes together. From the pioneering multi-
     talented graduate to the established highbrow couturier.

     A semi-annual modish ritual that fuels the designer war of
     emotions. Future flavors passing by on the cosmopolitan catwalk
     and bringing to life novel visions and sounds. Where todayÆs
     creativity turns into tomorrowÆs attitude.

     Demands to match contemporary collections with suited musical
     atmospheres are high. Thus, designer meets DJ. The AIFW-cd
     reflects these contrasting textures and moods that parade the
     Amsterdam catwalk. Musical motifs that can change from disco-
     folk (Feist) to minimal techno (Isolee) and that mutate from
     funk-pop (Kraak & Smaak) into old-skool hip hop (Playgroup) in
     just one walk through. From glamour to glam, bling to blues,
     conservative to contradiction. As easy as white becomes the new
     Black and nu-folk is remodeled into the new electro.

     It is clear that this AIFW album seizes the essence and
     eclectic vision of todayÆs fashionistas. It closely follows the
     insatiable hunger for new trends and styles. Adventurous and
     outrageous, yet voguish and reserved. So, whatever the season,
     the AIFW-cd will remind you of the changing colors and
     character of the emerging fashion industry.

     Monte La Rue had been resident at the AIFW for over 3 years now
     and the first compilation of this prestigious event is in the
     making. Designer meets Dj in a clash of catwalk tunes that will
