Recorded in Turin in middle 70's,but done in sweet
and lovely style of a 60's bossa classic, with the
support of one mysterious female vocal group, this
album represents one of the most important
releases of the period,a set that mixes jazzy
inflections on guitar, percussion and vocal's, with
a sound that's unlike anything else you've ever
heard before.
This records is a pure trip to different music
expressions of Brazil with an Italian touch, and
includes tracks like:"Birimbao"(one of the
favourite versions for Italian Afro Dj's),"Samba
do Amigo",a classic tune with an italian
soundtrack feeling, and many's favorite "Jalma".
Some years later this track inspired Giulio
Camarca to find the name for his new band project:
"Gialma3".
The Dj tune of the early eighties was the track
"Manha",a pure floorfiller for Italian clubs like
Cosmic,Typhoon,Chicago etc...
To cut a long story short this is a mindblowing
work from one of the most representative
brazilian/italian groups of the 70's...
