█▀░▌ and musician, Rik Parkinson and Jon Last, ▐░▀█
▀█▄█▀ who together make Jazz Sensation. These two ▀█▄█▀
▓ have put their skills and love of soulful ▓
■ house together to produce this jazz-fuelled ■
vocal gem. Starting off quite chilled, the pace soon picks up
▌ with distinctive vocals from Andreya Triana ▐
▌ and brass action from Nicola Coupe. This is a ▐
perfect record to bridge the gap from warm-up to peak time
▌ play. For the second track we have a Sounds ▐
▌ Like Soul favourite Word Of Mouth (aka Graham ▐

heavy percussion, old school keys and church organs, which

▌ Rik's hometown of Chorley saw him beside the ▐
likes of the Audiowhores and Russ Marland from the legendary
▌ Out in the Sticks, slowing working sets to ▐
▌ make way for figures that he inspires ▐
▌ musically and technically. From House to Hip ▐
▌ Hop Rik has hosted the backroom soulful ▐
▐▌ ▐▌ ▄█▀ ▀ sounds for the likes of mainstream ▀ ▀█▄ ▐▌ ▐▌
▀█▄▄█▀▀▀ icons such as Radio Ones Tim Westwood. ▀▀▀█▄▄█▀
█▀░▌ Locally Rik has provided the soundtrack for ▐░▀█

▓ such as BRB, Revolution, Fat Cat, Dr Whus and ▓

scene Rik has enjoyed the delights such as the notorious

▌ enthusiasm and young success has come to him ▐
▌ from his home breed production talent. Under ▐
the name of Jazz Sensation Rik has seen some serious backing
▌ from the likes of G-Club and Defected. ▐
▌ Boasting plays from the likes of CafΘ Mambo, ▐
▌ Pioneers Pro DJ's and receiving radio play ▐
▌ over LSR fm and Radio Aire. Rik's flair has ▐
▐▌ ▐▌ ▄█▀ ▀ lead him to host his own show "The ▀ ▀█▄ ▐▌ ▐▌
▀█▄▄█▀▀▀ Soul Connection" on LSR fm, fronting the ▀▀▀█▄▄█▀
█▀░▌ station at a prime time slot, swarming Leeds ▐░▀█
▀█▄█▀ with its weekly house intake. This then ▀█▄█▀
▓ lead to Rik becoming Head of Production at ▓
■ the station. This wealth and passion for the ■
scene also led to his first release being signed to the
▌ renowned Sounds like Soul, and with his first ▐
▌ remix from one half of the Audiowhores, ▐
Graham Lord (Word of Mouth) the future is looking promising.
