Da Mongoloids is Armand Van Helden.
These 3 mixes are both produced and remixed by him, from the same
period as 'The Funk Phenomena'.
It is one of the few 12inches i kept from the shitload of crap i
was sent by this Club promotion service at the time.
Armand Van Helden always amazed me by his power to slam
straight-out hits smashing club dancefloor and still steadily
experiment with both electronic and hip-hop sounds. One of the
happy few capable of achieving that kind of wizardry.
