dzihan & kamien come from atmospheric vienna, home of the waltz and
capital city of politically troubled austria which is toppling ever
further to the right. dzihan & kamien's music does not lean to the
right for these two classically trained musicians take an electic
mix of live and electronic, western and ethnic sounds and blend
them seamlessly in their well-produced album. strings, percussive
twists and electronica merge together in a swirl of sound
influenced by jazz, funk, drum&bass and world music to give a
smooth and pleasant, but not outstanding, blend.
the live-set was recorded on 2nd june 2001 at the at citadella,
budapest.
