with his creation meat beat manifesto, jack dangers has established
himself as a pioneer and continuing influence in the electronica
world. one of the progenitors of hard-hitting breakbeats and
drum'n' bass, dangers now makes his solo debut on shadow records.
previously unavailable performances from meat beat manifesto, tino,
dhs & bo square! along with meat beat manifesto, dangers drops
tracks from tino, dhs, loop finder general & bo square into the
mix! tino is the fictional cuban percussionist and the real record
label and project (tino corp.) run by dangers, ben stokes, and mike
powell. the label exists as an outlet for the three to release
their unique live drum breakbeat and scratch sessions, with the odd
latin beat thrown in for good measure. urb described the debut tino
breaks vol. 1 & 2 as "an entirely new creative paradigm." dhs is
the brainchild of ben stokes. best know for the techno anthem
"house of god" (appearing here with a jack dangers remix). stokes
is also the founder / director of h-gun labs, which has created
music videos for public enemy, new order, kmfdm, the offspring,
biohazard, marilyn manson, smashing pumpkins, ministry,
soundgarden, josh wink, the orb and mbm. loop finder general is
another current project of jack dangers. bo square is also a
charter artist on the label, led by mike powell.
