madrid de los austrias consists of the dj and labelboss of
sunshine enterprises don zanuste & the sound wizard pogo.
heinz tronigger aka don zanuste is on of the masterminds and
founder of sunshine enterprises which is an independent music
company running two clubs in vienna - the meierei in the cityÆs
park and the roxy, which are due to their innovative schedule
well-acknowledged on an international level. beside these clubs,
sunshine enterprises also hold a studio, a label and organises the
sequence network festival. since 7 years sunshine enterprises
playes the role of being a communication center and an interface
for musicians and art-related protagonists, as well as their
settings in vienna. sunshine enterprises has ensured that its
activities were the strong conjunction of innovative music
culture. ever since it has engaged in the support of the last
through constant events and sound recordings. don zanuste's dj
performances lead him to countrys like germany, spain,
switzerland, italy and the united states.
pogo on the other hand is a gifted instrumentalist, who is one of
the most demanded studiomusician in austria. pogo toured with his
band all over the world, played back in the days with the
legendary falco and is also a very talented actor. recently he
produced the first solo album of chaser's nigel hayes for the
sunshine enterprises label.
rioja , flamenco and other typical andalusian flavours inspired
the duo to their sound excursion combining a laid back laissez
faire feeling with exotic rhythm shades.
with their first release "dove estuta" they had an immidiate club
hit and showed how to put sampled beats and pieces together with
live elements in order to create an organic fusion of jazz,
breakbeats and flamenco. "dove estuta" was licensed for some of
the finest samplers such as "sonidos en agua" or "turntables on
the hudson vol. 2". with their latest and critically acclaimed 12
inch release "ole" on sunshine enterprises, they delivered another
tasty teaser for their long awaited album which is due in march
2001.

extravaganza which showcase some of the finest studio and live
musicians.
