Release Notes:

After two limited instrumental albums ('Lost In A Garden Of Clouds Parts 1 and
2'), ALPHA release their most high profile record since their days on MASSIVE
ATTACK'S label MELANKOLIC.

'Without Some Help' comprises some of their favourite collaborations and remixes
that they have worked on and involves a number of high profile artists such as
MASSIVE ATTACK, COLDPLAY and JARVIS COCKER, as well as current cult figures
JAMES ROBERTS (whose LP they produced), ACID CASUALS (CIAN from SUPER FURRY
ANIMALS superb side project) and HORACE ANDY.

3D, MASSIVE ATTACK "The Melankolic label heroes; a band of beautiful understated
charm, good friends and fellow strugglers." ... ALTERNATIVE PRESS "Masterfully
crafted torch songs, coated with a thin layer of orchestral gloss and trip-hop
beats that stand out as unique."... CD NOW "Few bands exceed Alpha in the
creation of truly encompassing and sensual chill-out tunes."... POPMATTERS
"Alpha have a knack for lush, floating textures whose less beat-oriented groove
emphasizes the "trip" component of so-called trip-hop."
