When it came out, it took over radio stations and became the
soundtrack of many people's live back in 1994. It was in the middle
of a regain of interest for Jimi Hendrix, feeded by re-issues by
the recording industry. It had all the appearance of a special
marketing project, the band having been granted permission to use
any Jimi Hendrix samples they wished.
And even so, this album captures and samples Jimi Hendrix spirit in
its most laidback form, delivering the perfect chill-out
soundtrack. No-matter nothing else ever came out from the Beautiful
People, or that this does seem not to be available anywhere
anymore, this one-shot project is still an essential album and i
can only advise you one thing: grab it !
PS: dupecheck showed a 1999 "Beautiful_people-if_60s_were_90s-aura"
that was nuked for an unknown reason then, so i hope u will let
that one reach the scene this time, as it deserves it.
