this release brings together two of the most remarkable musicians
of the current electronic music scene: the master of ceremony
himself, his majesty "my name is" cex, and mr. funk aka venetian
snares who recently met his unknown brother in one of those dark
and strange bars in berlin/mitte during an european tour. cex
starts on side a with an atmospheric midtempo track, dark and
gloomy, and built it up to a heavy pounding, industrial-like theme
for an army of panda bear zombies.
an unidentifyable voice screaming "panda - panda" is layed under a
wild and jazzy drill'n'bass track when venetian snares takes over.
he continues on side b with more abstract grooves, an armada of
strange samples and mixes it all up to one of those freaky tracks
without beginning or end that nobody can do better than him.
