::| Once upon a year a great festival takes place in northern Germany. It's |::
::| called Voov Experience. Because the circumastances were favourable, I |::
::| visited it this year. One day, when I was returning from the ToiToi, I |::
::| found this CD, laying in the middle of the Orange Area. This double CDR |::
::| contains the DJ set of Kai Mathesdorf recorded on Antaris Project on |::
::| 14th July 2006 from 16:00 to 19:00. I like it and that is why decided |::
::| to share it with YOU! |::

::| Kai Mathesdorf started DJing in several clubs of northern Germany in |::
::| the late 80s with soul, house and acid. An early Voov-Experience gave |::
::| him new enthusiasm for nightlife - specially in the kind of behaviour |::
::| of party people among themselves - and with trance. A stay in London |::
::| brought the complete overview about the UK psy trance label scene and a |::
::| first filled record bag. |::
::| |::
::| It took only one further year and he connected his former DJ skills |::
::| with that new music. He played the final set at Lovefield Festival in |::
::| 97; that was the start for a second grow up of his deep passion to work |::
::| with music, people and energy. |::
::| |::
::| In the following time he played all important psy trance clubs and most |::
::| of the big festivals in Germany frequently. He also had several |::
::| international gigs, a furious one at the legendary ELF house in |::
::| Amsterdam for example and a wonderful experience on a ship in Belgrade. |::
::| |::
::| Kai plays electronic dance music with emotional sense. His main focus |::
::| is on psychedelic and progressive trance, but he also plays house and |::
::| warm techno for the same audience. Cause of his long time work for |::
::| several German music magazines Kai has a nearly complete overview about |::
::| actual releases. He plays - in his view - only the best of it. For him |::
::| trance has to be music first, that means that trance should be |::
::| enjoyable also without drugs. Kai only plays CDs for an easier |::
::| transport, so he is able to travel with lot of music - to play |::
::| individual sets in direct correspondence with the audience. |::

::| Kai is 36 years old and lives in Kiel in northern Germany. |::
