Next up for Roam Recordordings is Italian producer Low Manuel.
Following up excellent releases on Nein and Beachcoma, Low Manuel
brings two new originals that form the Fishbone EP. The title track
Fishbone is smooth, dark, and driving and The Lifeguard is a
stunningly moody and eire piece.
The EP is backed by two strong remixes from Curses and Roe Deers who
fit perfectly with the dark style of the originals. Curses takes on
Fishbone and expertly adds a smattering of post punk vocals and
guitars weaved into a masterful arrangement. Roe Deers picks up the
energy of The Lifeguard and pushes it into an excellent heavier
industrial rework.
All four mixes work a dark energy perfect for dim lit clubs, warehouse
parties, and the occasional seance.
