Savvas "dj Savage" Georgiadis is a techno producer/dj from
thessaloniki, greece. his activities in electronic music started in
1987 and since then savvas, using various pseudonyms/projects
(like savvas, novatek, the repeater,neuro-d, digitalia) has released
his music (ranging from deep mimimal techno to kickin percussive tools
to freaky electro) through various labels like bellboy uk, harthouse,
treibstoff, morris audio, contrast uk, pof, telepathy and hyperspace
new york to name but a few. besides producing, savvas also used to
write for music mags and is the owner of kinetik records, the only
greek techno label. dj and live appearances include gigs in germany,
sweden, yugoslavia, switzerland and austria. the greek dance magazine
"freeze" called dj savage "the greek godfather of techno". anyway one
chooses to see it, one thing is certain: savvas is definitely a "greek
techno pioneer".
