│ In the beginning of 2002 Liisa Ihmemaassa decides to change │
│ name and attitude. Elisabeth Underground is born. The following │
│ summer the band releases a four-song ep named Sobriety. While │
│ the ep spreads around the group does gigs mainly around their │
│ hometown JyvΣskylΣ. The line-up goes through some changes but │
│ the main characters Sami, Henri and Malla remain. The next two │
│ years is spent working on the next release, which is originally │
│ meant to be another ep but which evolves to the band's first │
│ full-lenght album. The album is inspired by the film trilogy │
│ Back to the future. │

│ While Malla studies acting in Helsinki Sami and Henri work on │
│ new material at the band's studio located in an abandoned │
│ abattoir. Finally all three come together and finish their │
│ second album. The result is unique. It sounds as if Pink Floyd │
│ and Primal Scream were having an intercourse. It's not heavy │
│ metal, it's not prog, what on earth is it?!! It's distorted, │
│ ruthless, beautiful and deep. It's a record one must take a │
│ closer look. │

│ In March 2006 their second album simply named 2 is completed. │
│ The band performs throughout the spring and summer and │
│ eventually decides to release the record through their own │
│ record label Gigawatt Recordings. August 16. is set to be the │
│ release date of 2 in Finland. │
│ │
│ Gigawatt Recordings is looking for an international │
│ distribution for this astonishing album. │
