Release Notes:
It remains a mystery as to why the night Heritage
stopped at Cargo, to the many punters who enjoyed
the strange brand of classical foyer music, oddball
jazz, and mixed up beats, it was almost an
unbearable loss. But just as the harpists, string
quartets, alphorns, and classical guitarists
retreated back into their Purcells, Wigmores, and
Royal Alberts, Heritage had spawned an offspring of
epic proportions, a true legacy; The Heritage
Orchestra. The bands refreshing take on
contemporary forms can only be explained by being
the only orchestra ever to have been created by a
club-night; uprooting and throwing classical idioms
into a modern mix of beats, cinematic soundscapes,
and original orchestration......
