RELEASE NOTES:
The MICROSILLON project was born from the encounter of two
musicians : Mr Wong, a sound collector, a very talented DJ,
and a flowing guitar player, and Le Poulpe, epileptic
drummer, electronic fiddler with a singing southern accent.
The recording session took place at the Studio Microbe
Cloud, in a very relaxed atmosphere.
Everybody knew what was wanted from them which is very much
to their credit...and born was a very relaxed
triphop-electrojazz album, under which the
Fuerther musiciand and artists joined the work on the album.
Mona Soyoc, from the legendary Kas Product duet, lent her
delightful voice on the song Lucky. Here one can remind
DePhazz, with a hint to James Bond, which gets underlined by
the symphonic instrumental parts.
The indian bassist Rasha Sheen from Morning Star came from
Bristol for that occasion and sang the song Fly Away, a very
charming song whith an enthusiastic rhythm and very cool
oriental parts.
Technician Pierre Attyasse was there too and allowed the
band to take the maximum from all machines. His total
commitment to it was admired by everyone.
And as some painters owe the plastic quality of their work
to some accident, in the same way, musicians wilingly
greeted this technical incidents.
Dark Side Of The Moog convinces with strong jazzbeats,
flutes and effects û an hommage to the easy-listening period
of äThe Partyô (1969) from Blake Edwards with Peter Sellers
û but one can also think abof Dimitri from paris. A
fantastic form of the Musique Kitsch.
The third female clou comes from Anne LysbethTolede
(Juniper) gave a fragile and light singing on WEREWOLF. The
sweet scandinavien accent breathes though the french words..
äSome flavoured Pearls) is a very varied album with many
musical influences. An album perfect for the relaxed
listening, for the music backroung of modern ambientes as
well as for each party.
A perfect Loungs & Club music û and 100% neccessary for all
frankophils. Parfait!
