"Birth" is the first single on Kanzleramt from our newly signed Dutch
artist Peter Horrevorts!
Although just 23, Peter Horrevorts is not an unknown quantity.
In the late 90's Peter had his first digital release on Sublogic
Corporation and the positive reaction encouraged him to distribute a
few demos, resulting in his first release in 2001 of "Sweet EP" on
X-trax.
Released under the guise of "Forcesupreme" the record was spun on
turntables from noteable DJ's such as Marco Carola, Carl Cox or Adam
Bayer.
In March 2006 Heiko received a demo-mail from Peter and was
fascinated by the harmonic and affectionately created tracks. He
contacted Peter and after a successful introduction, signed him up
with Kanzleramt.
Four month later Peter's "Birth" saw the light of day on vinyl!
The track carries you away with its warm baseline and wonderfully
arranged strings which even Rolando couldn't do better! The b-side is
a remixed interpretation focusing on a powerful and bulky machined
theme.
This vinyl is a perfect player for transitioning those great dance
floor feelings through to the early morning dancing hours!
