"After its successful kick off-release Gedankensport is back on the
agenda of contemporary musical research studies. This time the name
of the engineer is Evil Hinko aka Ivo Hinkel. Evil Hinko is a
passionate music lover, a producer who is working on a spiritual and
sensitive basis. When he is sitting in his studio he completely gets
lost in his ideas, in his sounds and in his endless love for music.
Entering the studio is like entering a parallel universe for him.
It's a universe where time doesn't count, a universe full of
emotions. During his sessions time is running by and he doesn't take
any notice of it, because he is diving in a never ending ocean of
sounds and harmonies. For Evil Hinko creating music is like
meditation. He is finding pleasure and recreation on an amazing high
level in it and striving to perfection at the same time. After
enjoying his success with the project Kontrasequenz (together with
Benno Ruhdorfer ), getting playlisted by the likes of Laurent Garnier
or Timo Maas, and his first solo release on Electric Delicate
Records, we are more than happy to welcome Evil Hinko at
Gedankensport."

unconsciously that Evil Hinko has something in petto, something
massive! Soon the catchy synthie line comes in and with it a smile on
your face. With "Gedankenhochsprung" Evil Hinko managed to build a 10
minutes long masterpiece with a perfect arrangement and virtuously
timed breaks. The frenetic melody with its simplicity and trickiness
at the same time gives you the heebie-jeebies. Minimal sounds with
maximum impact!
B1: "Gedankenhochsprung (Babicz Rmx)" Robert Babicz aka Rob Acid is
releasing on labels like Audiomatique , K2 or Martinez' Out of Orbit
imprint just to name a few. For Evil Hinko he used all his years of
experience and his nearly endless musical ideas to give
"Gedankenhochsprung" a very special remix-flavour and create a unique
atmosphere!
B2: "Gedankenabsprung" is the congenial counterpart to
Gedankenhochsprung" on the A-side. The heart of the track is its
filthy filtered bassline that is constantly pushing you ahead
accompanied by firm synths. With his typical love to details Evil
Hinko creates a track that seems to be quite reduced but in effect
he is opening a complete universe different tones in which every
sound-star is shining brighter than the over. Altogether they are
forming one unique and coherent sound galaxy.
