Snakes Say Hisss! is a synth-pop duo.

Members Jamie Ayers (vocals and keyboard) and Sam Skarstad (guitar) met as
sophomores at Skidmore College and in less than a year have settled into a sound
that resuscitates, redefines, and glorifies the æ80s pop experience.

Dancey beats and heavy synths provide the bedrock for the hooks: sugary melodies
and lyrics about young summers and sexual frustrations.

Ayers and SkarstadÆs charge is to strip away all thatÆs stale about modern pop
and then electrify everything else.
