│ Knifehandchop kicks off Tigerbeat6's new Tigerbass sublabel │
│ with a shockingly catchy and clubby excursion. I thought this │
│ dude was all Kid 606 and Drop The Lime, glitchy and stuttery │
│ fuckfest to the core, nothing I would really be interested in │
│ checking out normally. But "Dirty New York(1)" keeps an even │
│ keel, flaunting an uptempo electro beat that could mix easily │
│ with some grime or dubstep. Harlem's MC Whistler turns in a │
│ short and sweet guest spot, nothing too flashy but definitely │
│ catchy. "All Over Your Face(2)" is the one that Lab patrons │
│ will be running to, though û it's basically an unlabeled remix │
│ of Khia's "My Neck, My Back," ghetto-tech'ed up, nice and │
│ dirty. Both tracks feature "reverse" versions, which are │
│ essentially the same as the main mixes but with slightly │
│ deconstructed beats û basically, they're more in the typical │
│ Tigerbeat6 style. A surprisingly dope outing from │
│ Knifehandchop. Recommended. │

│ One correction from the review: the (Reverse) tracks use the │
│ beat from the reverse side. So basically you get to hear the │
│ vocals over both beats. nice. │
