kill.pop. is a band of misdirection. They come from different social
backgrounds, music backgrounds and art backgrounds; and when together they push
and pull each other trying desperately to gain ground on the other and in the
process end up in an entirely different direction than any of them intended.
kill.pop. aims for a sound that is not only familiar but disquieting and
abrasive. They attempt to shake up the comfortable yet remain within reason.
Call it post rock, or post grunge, grunge with a post art/prog rock lineage.
Call it a sound, an action, an ideal. Call it punk or post punk or pre-killers
post new wave second generation hip hop for those missing the poetic ramblings
