Germany is looking for a superstar... and
his name is not Michael Ballack or Miro
Klose. Nor is his name Tobias Regner,
Alexander, or whatever they are or were
called. Here we are talking about a
superstar who has been the business
non-stop for 15 years! Tom Novy! And his
new album bears the name of "Superstar"
with good reason.
When does the man actually sleep? Producer,
remixer, mixer, columnist, VJ, DJ, RJ...
always and everywhere, a concept, a
permanent institution in Germany and the
rest of dance-mad civilisation on this
planet. He stands out with his variety and
constant presence. He has become
indispensable to the international house
and club scene.
He seems to be constantly travelling, in
cities, on islands, in hotels, at parties
surrounded by beautiful women and cool men.

superstar in fact. Does he know where he is
when he wakes up in one of his countless
hotel rooms? After staying up all night
with a thousand sounds and lights. In every
conceivable and inconceivable place where
parties are held that he attends, where he

So it's unexpected that the man can still

an admirable follow-up hit to his 05
successes "Take It" and "Your Body" (Top 10
UK Sales Charts), with the name, of course,
of "Unexpected."
The song is one of a total of 16 tracks in
a surprisingly varied album in which Robin
Felder took care of the lyrics and Tom Novy
and Adrian Bahil, his studio partner of
many years, took care of the music.

with a crude monotonous beat should recall
the melodically mixed single "Take It" in
which Lima Ben-Janetts was able to spread

of the poppy sound of Kylie Minogue and now
and then it makes you think of the Madonna
