|   |  Scandinavia techno don rubs some muck into his machines for his    |   |
|   |  Planet Mu debut, thankfully a million miles removed from the gash  |   |
|   |  reworking of Happy Monday's/Joy Division that recently polluted    |   |
|   |  my ears. Working with a modified technostep framework given a      |   |
|   |  healthy dose of wonk, 'Kids wake up' instantly reminds of early    |   |
|   |  Warp releases from Forgemasters or LFO, bleeping synthlines and    |   |
|   |  blatant old school hardcore references bolster a driving riddim    |   |
|   |  ripe for rinsing. 'Harlem shoot me' errs more to the breakstep     |   |
|   |  format with a subwonking groove, blustering basslines and          |   |
|   |  whipcracking snares hardstep about an acid dipped synthline        |   |
|   |  setting a strict blueprint for wonkstep or whatever the f*ck you   |   |
|   |  want to call it. Mucky sh*t all round - good twelve.               |   |
