▀ ▀ ▀
"From late 1994 to early 1996, the members of Camp Lo worked with producer
Ski on a series of demos in Ski's home studios at Valentine Ave in the
Bronx, 110th Street in Spanish Harlem, and 1520 Sedgewick Ave. in the Bronx
(the home of Hip-Hop's first parties with DJ Herc).
These Cassette demos were the foundation for the group's debut album, as
well as a collection of slick tracks that never made it to the public.
Found in a basement nearly twenty years after they were recorded, these
demos show Camp Lo at their finest, and represent that true 1990s hip hop
flavor, On The Way Uptown."
