         █░█    Does this guy Torquil Campbell ever sleep? The     █░█
         █░█    chief engineer of Stars and part of the Broken     █░█
         █░█    Social Scene has teamed up with Chris Dumont to    █░█
         █░█    release Little Place in the Wilderness, the        █░█
         █░█    sophomore LP from his perpetual side project,      █░█
         █░█    Memphis. Rather than take the route of his Stars   █░█
         █░█    counterpart Amy Millan (who released an album of   █░█
         █░█    country/folk tunes in late-August) or the          █░█
         █░█    textured guitar-driven rock of Broken Social       █░█
         █░█    Scene, Memphis strays toward a more of a           █░█
         █░█    pop-centric approach.                              █░█
         █░█                                                       █░█
         █░█    Campbell, who also moonlights as an actor and      █░█
         █░█    theatre director, creates a host of melodic        █░█
         █░█    indie-rock soundscapes. Recorded in a hotel room   █░█
         █░█    in Vancouver, Little Place echoes the intimacy of  █░█
         █░█    a cold winter's night. Campbell's gentle voice     █░█
         █░█    drifts over a soothing and seemingly effortless    █░█
         █░█    cascade of horns, strings, guitars and pianos.     █░█
