Drawing from the intensity of the The Clash, the idiosyncrasies of
The Cure, and the depth of Jane's Addiction, SO IT GOES is a
throwback punk rock-new wave band on the move.
The band was founded in late 2003 when brothers and singer-
songwriters, Adam and Travis Gislason, shared ideas during an
impromptu jam session in Payson's basement. Joined by drummer
Micah Thor and bassist Brian Gruidl, SO IT GOES has been gaining
momentum towards the release of its first full-length CD,
Historionics.
The band recorded Historionics over the past year at Flowers
Studio in Minneapolis. Ed Ackerson - pointman of the Susstones
collective and Minnesota Music Awards Producer of Year 2005 -
produced the tracks and worked the controls to capture the sonic
energy unique to SO IT GOES.
The band celebrated the release of Historionics September 23rd at
the 400 Bar. Adam Gislason spends his "downtime" practicing law at
Zelle Hofmann Voelbel Mason & Gette LLP, which he describes as
"The finest collection of lawyers and people, if not in the
