most interesting split ive ever owned or listened to..
really amazing hip hop... then.. the most depressing folk music ever. haha
but, both are AMAZING.
Manic Impressive (a.ka. Tyler Durden, a.k.a. Jeremy Treader) combines his
furious rhyme style with his hard hitting production skill to lace tracks
that leave hip-hop fans with soar necks and lyrics to recite to your rivals
in the school yard. This self contained artist weaves his verses out of
battle rhymes, experiences and politics, while keeping fans of all music
genres happy with his fluid delivery, unique voice and cleverly written
lyrics. His production skills come from a musical background that includes a
10 year history of playing guitar, bass, drums and keyboard in 8 different
bands, as well as being classically trained in music theory. At age 23 Manic
Impressive is working on many different hip-hop projects including the I.R.E.
(Ill Rhyme Ensemble), Omega 1ne Crew, as well as currently pursuing his solo
career as an MC and a producer. Along with his rap plans, he plays in 3 DIY
punk bands, DAWN TREADER, HOBIS, and THE SUMMER WE WENT WEST. Check out the
bands and other bands on his label's web site www.metaphysicsrecords.tk. "me
and rap roll together like he was my pops, taught me how to raise crops plus
how to hate cops..."
The imagine-nation formed on December 26, 1982. I have been doing this for a
long time under different names. I have played a few shows and recorded lots
of songs for 11 years. I also do some other projects, dawn treader, hobis,
the summer we went west, I.R.E., Omega 1ne, and Manic Impressive. This is
what I do when I am not doing those things.
released in... mid 06?
