The deep house crew brings you once again a high quality release of
soulful dance music.. music with emotion that deserves the promotion..

·∙∙∙·[comments]·∙·∙∙·∙···∙∙∙··∙∙··∙·∙∙·∙··∙∙∙··∙∙··∙·∙∙·∙··∙∙∙··∙∙··∙·∙∙·∙·∙·

The opening track lets you know straight away, what Richters all
about - An acoustic guitar accompanied by a staggering dub bass spins
a tight electric funk on which a vocoder voice accounts for the
darkness of night and the transience of things. In ôAt nightô Richter
shares his nocturnal insights with us. In ôStars never lieô, the
second track, Richter retains the vocoder harmony and tenderly
consoles the acoustic guitar. Then all of a sudden, there is this
strange floating bass that tightens the reins and reinforces a
calming atmosphere yet compulsively grooves through its irresistible
     melody.

By this time you know the Richter wants to draw more than just
non-committal ôpretty picturesô Presented through fine pop melodies,
he wants to recite history thatÆs been inspired by the rich stores of
the past. On his foray, he doesnÆt stop at ôradio-suitableô 80Æs-hits
and thatÆs just what distinguishes ôaudioexileô: his debonair
association with the paragons of our time û a strength like a visible
thread running through the younger works of this generations
     pioneers.

Just like them, Richter has understood: you can only draw upon the
powers of exaggeration to create the melodies that are still catchy
over the years. ôHurtô is a good example: a delicately woven harmony
that builds up the suspense until it breaks, and then Richter sings
ôI┤m going back to the place I got hurtô. ôLittle Eô keeps it up:
borne by Richter almost bombastically rolling out the piano-carpet.

And just then, when RichterÆs wraps us up in silk and we feel snugly
comfortable with the airy, lightness of his melodies, he adjusts our
distorted world view with a decent portion of Elektro-Funk (ôB_Sideô,
ôFunk is what you don┤t playô or even ôDesperate Houseworkô).
Alternating between wonderfully mellow, and pure electroid. Like in
ôStay Tonightô an Electra-Groove Dub, which smoothly cites the
Viennese Downbeat-Scene in her prime. One of the finest examples of
     slick metropolitan Grooveness!

     ôaudioexileô û The Album

ôaudioexileô is an album that canÆt decide between soft pop and
disco-electro funk û and thatÆs exactly itÆs fortitude. ôaudioexileô
works at home just as well as on the dancefloor, and stays exiting
throughout. ôaudioexileô is melodious Elektro-Pop, that doesnÆt need
any big gestures and reminds you of the genreÆs trailblazers through
itÆs playful brilliance. All the other pop history blueprints are
references of the elegant attempts to wed Elektro-pop and Dance
     floor.

     äaudioexileô û The Genesis

What do Pink Floyds ôDark Side of the Moonö, Stevie Wonders ôSongs in
the Key of Liveö, and the Beatles┤ ôSgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club
Bandö have in common? They were all part of RichterÆs parentsÆ record
collection, which influenced him to make his own music since his
     early youth.

The final stone that got everything rolling was a recording his
father worked on and put together in fine detail û a sensational
collage of The Brandenburg Concert No.3. played alternatively by The
Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and Isao Tomita on his synthesizer
     armada.

TomitaÆs electronic sounds mesmerized him and Richter found his first
Synthesizer under the Christmas tree soon thereafter. A Roland Alpha
Juno 2, which Richter still uses for all his songs today. He plays
nearly all the musical instruments on his current album ôAudioexileô,
himself, which is also his first fully completed work. Released by
Couch Records on 29th of September 2006.
