Pete Pythagoras was found on the doorstep of a buddhist monastery. There he
learned the art of the abacus for 6 years. Pete boarded a ship to New York City
where he became fascinated with hip-hop and learned how to freestlye while
waiting for the bus at Port Authority. He then made a voyage to the tri-county
region of Upstate N.Y. bringing with him his freestyle skills and a desire to
start a band. The vibrations of the bass called to him. Pete studied the art of
adding melody to movement, the groove, and began looking for someone to add the
beat to his formula. He thought of his friend and one time schoolmate,Al
Gorithm. The two decided to calculate the equation of the rhythm section but
came to the conclusion they wanted to add a variable, the melody. Quickly
approaching their friend and lab partner, Dewi Decimal, with their proposition,
he enthusiastically agreed to play keyboards with Pete and Al. The
Mathematicians began writing hot dance grooves and soon realized they had a
mission: to bring the pulse to the people. Dewi Decimal began his life as a
childhood prodigy. Influenced at the age of 2.3 by the sexagesimal system, He
drew forth a mathematical pilgrimage to ancient Babylonia. At age 6 Dewi became
tired and confused by most philosophical axioms. By age 11 he suffered a nervous
breakdown. Finding no meaning, blinded by the lack of equal proportions in life
he turned to music. Going into seclusion, calculating wavelengths by a
topological melodic format he became cleansed through his studies. By the age of
25, Dewi returned back to civilization finding the world to be a different
place. He lived day to day working odd jobs and labor ready programs.While on a
temp job, he was discovered by Pete Pythagoras and Al Gorithm while conducting a
rocket science convention somewhere out west. The rest is plain math from here.
Dewi currently resides in the tri-county region equating with his fellow
mathematicians. Albert Gorithm the 4th grew up in the tri-county region of
upstate New York. As a young boy he spent much of his time alone with his
talking calculator, which he called ôCalkyö. His parents began to worry about
him when they found him in the street staring at Calky while cars whizzed by
him. He spent the majority of his youth bent on a single equation that would
supposedly solve the worldÆs problems. At the age of 16 he realized the answer
he had arrived at was incorrect. So he tried a new approach, by age 19 he solved
his beloved equation (the answer was unfotunately 0). He attended 17 community
colleges over the next 6 years and did not graduate from a single one. Turning
his attention toward the use of computers to create music he realized his true
calling and began to learn about making tunes. One day he ran into his old
friend Pete Pythagoras who he used to subtract fractions with. Pete told him
about a new hypothesis he had and Al agreed to work with him on it. They began
working with Dewi Decimal and have been cumputing together ever since. Al is
currently hard at work cloning drum machines.
