Emerging from Seattle, Washington, Riding Paper Airplanes is the debut solo
project of John Wu. Drawing upon influences ranging from pop songs to movie
soundtracks, the debut release of Riding Paper Airplanes paints a stunningly
diverse soundscape using both electronic and acoustic instruments.
From the opening notes of "homecoming weekend in a small town" to the haunting
finish of "lying on a hill, watching clouds on a saturday", Riding Paper
Airplanes accompanies the listener on a journey through songs rich with

"My object was to convey a feeling to people, rather than a story or a message,"
