│ Aviator Lane began life as a band in Adelaide during 2002. The
│ lineup disintegrated as two members moved overseas, leaving
│ Michael Radzevicius to carry on as a solo project, under the same
│ name. During this time, Aviator Lane has developed a new, more
│ refined sound. "A hybrid between Art of Fighting, Sandro, and the
│ clean guitar of some Mogwai tracks (think C.O.D.Y minimalism)."

│ In the latter part of 2004, Michael started looking into putting
│ together a band to help play his songs live, giving them much
│ greater dynamics, with subtle builds and arrangements constituting
│ the central motif of the sound. The band has a floating
│ membership, depending on time and location and other variables,
│ but includes musicians such as Marty Brown, Jon Ashley, Ianto Ware
│ and Tim & Josh Versteegh (Little Ice Age). "[They] treat
│ disappointment with mellow warmth [and] built up their serene
│ sounds into driven rock while maintaining the subtleties that they
│ started with."
