▌░ Fitz of Depression is a group of hardcore/punkers from ░▐
▌░ Olympia, WA. The trio, consisting of Mikey Dees, Craig ░▐
▌░ Becker, and Justin Warren, bowed with a self-titled EP in ░▐
▌░ 1989. Oddly enough, despite their fast, aggressive style the ░▐
▌░ band has an affinity for new wave covers, having releasing ░▐
▌░ guitar-drenched versions of Tommy Tutone's "867-5309/Jenny"; ░▐
▌░ Elvis Costello's "Red Shoes," "Miracle Man," and "Welcome to ░▐
▌░ the Working Week"; and even Joe Jackson's "I'm the Man" ░▐
▌░ during their career. ░▐
▌░ ░▐
▌░ The group's self-titled debut LP emerged in 1993 on Meat ░▐
▌░ Records. 1994 saw the group switching to K Records and ░▐
▌░ replacing bassist Justin Warren with newcomer Brian Sparhawk ░▐
▌░ for Let's Give It a Twist. Pigs Are People Too followed that ░▐
▌░ same year while the Swing album emerged in 1996. In 1996, the ░▐
▌░ group also contributed a not-so-silent version of "Silent ░▐
▌░ Night" to the Hardcore Holiday compilation (on Essential ░▐
