Beautiful new Japanese underground bomb from this loner
acid/folk cosmonaut. Limited CD-R with full-colour cover.
Sound is that endlessly refracted cosmic tonefloat that
Yamashirube/Magical Power Mako regularly beam from their
brains, all cut up with beautiful acid folk ballads that are
somewhere between Ghost, Traffic Sound, UK folk privates like
Tony, Caro & John and some of the Org stables more
psychedelically-inclined primitivists. Instruments include
acoustic and electric guitar, bongo, mouth harp, singing ball,
Tibetan bell, Indian bell, percussion, hand bell, hampi bell,
Harmonium, bamboo pipe, mandolin, wave machine and "sound of
waterfall". If space-whispered odes to the luminous dance of
electrons, the sound of celestial waves lapping gently at the
rim of your brain, bloops of spaceways-sculpting harmonium and
beautiful, forlorn, acoustic psych poetry is your poison then
you oughta just up and move to Japan. Until then Youji's your
ticket of choice. Recommended.
