Exceptionally Remixed is a compilation of some of
the best mixes taken from the catalogue of the
London based label, Exceptional Records. The
remixers represent some of the masters of their
craft from an international producers wish
list...from America Osunlade, from Canada Akufen &
Moonstarr, our friends from Japan -Kyoto Jazz
Massive (with Hajime Yoshizawa on keys...) rub
shoulders with the UK's finest in the shape Bugz in
The Attic, Quantic, Jamie ''son of Shakkatak
''Jimpster and even the ever popular Spiritual
South with his first ever commercial remix. In the
middle of the album is one Andreas Saag who was the
man responsible for kick starting the whole
''Gothenburg'' scene. He records under several
guises but on this album he's added his Swedish
Swell Session magic to the Japanese artist Susumu
Yokota & Ohio beat maker and Five Deez member Fat
Jon. Hopefully this album will show everyone what a
diverse label Exceptional is. It's a label where
the music, although being quite diverse, has a
common thread throughout and that common thread is
called ''quality''.
