::| Rouge pulp was founded in the summer of 1998 by the two brothers Dirk |::
::| and Niels Mende to promote the large potential of the up to then fewer |::
::| well-known DJs and producers of House Music and in order to offer to |::
::| these artists from now on a platform for their productions in the |::
::| independent style of House Music. Rouge Pulp was thus placed in 1998 on |::
::| the German market beside the labels Peppermint Jam, Force Inc U.S. and |::
::| Compost already established, what presented itself from the outset as |::
::| large challenge. The first releases of Rouge Pulp were predominantly |::
::| sold in rather visible numbers of copies into the USA and Canada by |::
::| Container Hamburg. However it was always the tendency of the label to |::
::| be represented world-wide. With the 4th release in DMD was found a |::
::| strong partner, which could take off also the world-wide selling from |::
::| now on. In March 2002 Rouge Pulp changed its distribution to Peppermint |::
::| Jam Hannover, one of the most important distribution organization for |::
::| House Music. Since the foundation Rouge Pulp tries to bring a |::
::| high-quality selection of many productions with constantly one release |::
::| per month regularly on the market and into the clubs. The high |::
::| requirement of the label owner vouches for quality, because the |::
::| selection is singular. |::
::| |::
::| "We will publish only things, of which we are convinced 100 percent, |::
::| because the market is overcrowded from moderate until bad productions |::
::| and we want to satisfy this not further, but enrich around high-quality |::
::| productions." explains label manager Dirk. |::
::| Those is neglected variety however in no way, because the spectrum of |::
::| the releases of Rouge Pulp uncovers a large bandwidth of House Music |::
::| and penetrates with artists like Boris Godunov and DJ Peer even into |::
::| kinds of Jazz. |::
