| The Static. Pop EP by Broken Radio (Royale and Us7 of Dope Recordings), is |
| afour track EP of solid techno jams ranging from peak hour floor pounders |
| tolate night chill out sessions. Each track stands alone as a perfect |
| additionto your set, whatever feeling, or mood you're looking to lay out, |
| theStatic. Pop EP contains the perfect jam to accentuate your sound. The |
| release opens up with Alert's interpretation of the track, and whatcomes |
| out is a peak hour dance floor stomper. Minimal, sharp and driving arewords |
| that describe much of Alert's techno and the Between The Frequency Remix of |
| Static. Pop is no exception. The rhythmic intensity of this jam is |
| theperfect track to lock your crowd in and take control of their minds. |
| Attentat's, Dirty Heads Remix changes gears and brings us a latenight dubby |
| jam, that'll help keep the crowd moving until the last onedancing finally |
| passes out and throws up on himself. Echoing synths, punchydrums and deep |
| resonating bass characterize the dream like rhythms of thisbeautiful track. |
| The original version by Broken Radio manages to tie all of themes of |
| theremixes together into a track that would find a home at any point in a |
| nightof music. More epic in feel then the more stripped down remixes, this |
| istruly a jam for the heads. Tribal percussion back a thumping bass drum |
| andare delicately intertwined with a trance inducing synth line, that |
| willappeal to the lover of a solidly crafted dance floor stormer. To round |
| out the EP we have Story's Tin Foil Antennae remix. This track is |
| anenjoyable, nostalgic nod to days of rave gone by. The synths are distant |
| andhypnotic drawing you towards them, leaving space for the rhythm |
| andpercussion that bounce along and lead you on the wonderful path of a |
| classictrance sound that will never go out of style. Lacking all of the |
| trappingsof the current paradigm in trance music, this is a great dance |
| floor jamthat will warm the hearts and asses of all long time electronic |
| music fans. |
