This all star band includes leader Ed Thigpen (drums),
Jens Winther (trumpet), Thomas Franck (Tenor sax), Kasper
Villaume (piano) and Jesper Bodilsen (bass). Thigpen says
about this project that "I want to expose these four
musicians, whom I call world class Scandinavian players"
and "that at my age (yes I'm 73), I am going through a
transition where I write songs and I want to hear them
played." Five of the ten tunes are Thigpen originals. One
is by Franck.
