Continuing to add exciting new talent to their roster, D.J.
MacIntyre's SLC-6 Music welcomes Platon to the label for his
debut single. Rising out of Russia's electronic underground,
Moscow resident Platon first emerged in 2017 with a release via
Denis A's DAR. Recognized for his groovy progressive sound, the
next half decade would see Platon choose his projects wisely,
compiling a short but meticulous discography with standout
releases for Arey, Electronic Tree and Stellar Fountain's Black
division. Now, adding SLC-6 Music to his resume, Platon debuts
on the label with 'Ethereum', alongside remixes from Digital
Mess, Dofamine and Gleb Rubens. The original mix finds Platon
operating at the peak of his creative powers with a high-octane
slice of progresssive house, highlighted by driving grooves,
acid-like lines and a dreamy break which is sure to capture the
imagination of your dance floor. Returning to the label for the
first interpretation is Digital Mess who showcases his detailed
sound with an array of colourful effects and shimmering arps
over tight compact grooves and swing-heavy percussion. Next up
is label debutant Dofamine who delivers a progressive-minded
interpretation that works balmy atmospheres and trance-inducing
melodies over punchy beats and crunchy grooves. The release
concludes with SLC-6 Music stalwart Gleb Rubens taking
'Ethereum' into dubbier territory. The Belarusian artist
deconstructs the main themes and tightens up the groove for a
roomy cosmic rendition which closes the release out in style.
