Wolf Rd combines the anthemic melodies and passion of pop-punk with metal and
hardcore instrumentation to create a sound that is unique and
genre-inclusive. With a seemingly endless supply of infectious hooks and big
riffs, the band strives to create cathartic songs that you can easily picture
packed crowds of fans screaming along to. Wolf RdÆs introspective lyrics
tackle themes like toxic relationships, mortality, and regret in a way that
is both relatable and profound.
Wolf Rd celebrated the launch of their debut EP ôNowhere Around Youö with a
sold-out record release show in late 2019. The band then continued to promote
the release with music videos and high-powered performances around the
Chicagoland area, sharing packed bills with artists like Meet Me @ The Altar,
Wilmette, and Dying In Designer. After the COVID-19 pandemic put touring
plans on hold, the group spent the remainder of 2020 in the studio writing
and recording new material. Wolf RdÆs forthcoming acoustic EP û
ôCounterpointö û features both original and reimagined tracks that showcase a
more delicate side of the band.
