██│ Big Little Lions, the folk-pop duo of Helen Austin (Royston, BC,
██│ Canada) and Paul Otten (Sprinboro, OH, USA), came together as a Happy
██│ Accident. Their collaborations have earned a JUNO award, a John Lennon
██│ songwriting prize, and have been featured in numerous commercials,
██│ films and TV shows.
██│
██│ Living thousands of kilometres apart, they were used to working
██│ remotely, but they had always enjoyed coming together to tour their
██│ multi-instrumental frenetic live shows. With those shows cancelled
██│ during the pandemic the duo pledged to release a single a month, not
██│ just to keep themselves sane, but also connected.
██│
██│ This album is made up of those singles - songs of separation, songs of
██│ friendship and of love. Songs that only exist because of a Happy
██│ Accident.
██│
██│ For fans of: Sufjan Stevens, Of Monsters and Men, Firewoodisland,
██│ Little Chief, Rivvrs, Tow'rs and The Lumineers.
